💡 Global Navigation

The Global Navigation Bar is located on the left side of every page in Canvas. The Global Navigation links will provide you quick access to frequently used Canvas features and they furnish access to all your courses collectively.

Default links included are below and we will look at each separately later in the course:

1. 1. 1. 1. Account - contains your personal information and preferences, including notifications, Folio, settings, notifications, and files.
        
        Dashboard - The Dashboard screen provides quick access to courses, recent activity, announcements, upcoming tasks, feedback, and grades. You can always return to your Dashboard by clicking on the dashboard link or the CCC Logo above the Global Navigation Bar itself.
        
        Courses - shows all of your active classes in a collapsible menu. Click on the course you want to access.
        
        Calendar - shows your events and assignments for all Canvas courses.
        
        Inbox - provides access to the internal email messaging tool, which connects with your CCC Student E-mail account.
        
        History - Recent History displays up to three weeks of your Canvas course page view history.
        
        Follett Discover - CCC instructors can use Follett Discover to adopt course materials/ Students can easily view, procure and access their materials.
        
        Help - contains multiple support resources, including the Canvas user guides, the Canvas Community, and locations to ask questions of instructors and report problems.
