Installing the YuJa Client

For full access to all the YuJa options, it is recommended to download and install the YuJa client to your device. IT has pushed the client out to all current full time instructor and select staff devices. If you don't see it on your device or you are not an instructor you may need to download the installation file and then submit a Service Now ticket requesting IT to install it. Once logged into YuJa, from the YuJa dashboard, you can access the download file in by clicking on the Create Recording button at the top of the page.

From the Create Recording window, be sure to Select Record from your Windows PC or Mac option, then click the download link at the bottom of the window.

If installing on a CCC College device, once the file is downloaded, please put in a Service Now Ticket asking IT to install the YuJa client from the download file. If installing on a personal device, locate the downloaded file and follow the screen prompts to install.

Once logged into YuJa, on the top right corner of the YuJa Dashboard, click the person icon and then select My Account.

On the My Account page, locate the download button on the left panel and click.

Locate and click on the Express Installer for Windows or Capture for Apple depending on your device. Once you have the file downloaded you can request IT to install the client for you with a Service Now ticket.

It is possible to download the Alternate Installer following the guide: Silent Installation of the YuJa Software Capture for PC Application to use while you wait for the install. However, per YuJa: "To take full advantage of the Software Capture application’s asynchronous upload capability, we suggest downloading Express Installer."
