When you go into AttendancePlus after you have it set up with your timetable and sessions you will find several tools and options for viewing and editing sessions, entering attendance, accessing reports and customizing your views.

Customizing your Sessions View

You can toggle between Calendar View or List View on the top right corner of the sessions. Both views give you the options in the drop down menu to Enter attendance, Edit session, Delete session, Printable Register, and Attendance History.

To Take/Enter Attendance

Step 1:

In either the Calendar view or List view, select the drop down arrow next to the date you would like to take attendance, then chose the option to Enter attendance.

Step 2:

In the next screen you will see a list of students enrolled in the course, Sometimes the timing of when students enrolled, entering the attendance schedule and other factors may affect whether or not all students are displayed. If the students are enrolled, you can click the + people button to add the missing students (see 2nd screenshot below). You can also choose an option to set up a SeatingPlan view if you like. Contact your local LSS support staff if you need assistance with this feature.

Step 3:

There are two options to enter attendance. You can select the down arrow next to each student and chose the attendance option for that student. Or you can chose the Fill blanks option at the top and chose the attendance option for the majority, and then adjust individually if one or two students have a different option/status.

After entering the attendance for the session be sure to click the Save button at the top.
