Caution: Use this option only if you have already imported using a full course import that includes the CCC Template and course settings using these instructions: Importing Content into Your Live Course Shell.

Go to the Import Existing Content via the link on the Home page or by going to Settings in the course navigation and then selecting the Import Course Content from the right panel.
Choose the Copy a Canvas Course from the Content Type drop-down list.
Choose the course you want to get content from.
Content section, select Select Specific Content option.
Click Add to Import Queue button, you may use the adjust dates options as may be applicable.
Click the Select Content button, in the pop-up do NOT check the Course Settings or Syllabus Body options.
Expand the different areas for Modules, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussion Topics, Pages, Files, etc. and then only select the course materials that are needed in each type.
Then click the Select Content button at the bottom
Please note if you are importing graded activities with this method, you will need to go to the Assignments page and move the items into the correct Assignment Groups and delete the Imported Assignments group.
